Alan Taylor's Thor: The Dark World opened in the U.S. today but it's already made $109.4 million worldwide making it an international hit. One of the concept illustrators, Nathan Schroeder, very kindly sent me these exclusive illustrations from the production of the Thor 2 movie and I wanted to share them with you.

Nathan Schroeder is a professional concept illustrator who's worked on blockbuster movies like Avengers, Thor and Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull.

  5. I haven't seen the movie yet, so can't compare, but some those images were amazing. I especially like the dark matter one and the first two attack ones.

  6. These concepts are great - and I loved the film too.
    Yes, theres some plot-holes (or rather, huge co-incidences), but there's such imagination all over it you dont care.
